ARTHUR TRICKS THE TOOTH FAIRY

I read the book "ARTHUR TRICKS THE TOOTH FAIRY." I like this series. But I don't like Arthur so much. Arthur looks not so cute, I think. Anyway, I like this series.

One day Arthur waved a dollar. He was gave it by the Tooth Fairy. The Tooth Fairy took baby teeth and left money. Arthur thought the Tooth Fairy has many old teeth and she makes a castle which is made of the teeth. Arthur's thinking is wonderful. The next morning, D.W. said that her teeth lost. But that was not true. She wanted to be taken her teeth by the Tooth Fairy and give a money. After the school, Arthur went home and he found it that is strange in his house. D.W. tried to pull her teeth. But she couldn't. Then she talked with her mother about her teeth. She wanted to go the dentist to pull her teeth. But her teeth were perfect. So the dentist didn't pull her teeth. Another day, their mother took them to the museum. And end of that, her mother said, "You can each buy one little thing." Arthur looked at everything. D.W. wanted just one thing. She had an idea. That night, D.W. wanted to go to bed early. The day she gave shark's teeth from her mother. Her idea was that she was going to trick the Tooth Fairy with her shark's teeth. When Arthur heard that, he decided to help the Tooth Fairy. D.W. put her shark's teeth under the pillow. After she slept, Arthur pick her shark's teeth and put a money under the pillow.

The next day, D.W. shouted. She thought she could trick the Tooth Fairy. She thought she would trick the Tooth Fairy again.

I think Arthur is so kind. He is good brother. I also have a good elder brother. He lives in Tokyo. I hope his success. This book made me warm. Thank you.

The Go-kart Race

I read the book "The Go-kart Race." It was so interesting for me.
Wilma and Biff found a notice about a go-kart race. Wilma told Biff an idea about the race. They told Mum about the race. Mum found the old go-kart. But it looked broken. Biff told Dad about the race. Then they they made a new go-kart to use the old one. Mum painted the go-kart. And Chip helped his mother. He was good at painting. When Biff looked the go-kart, she wanted to a go soon. But is was still wet. Then Mum took the children to a park and there was a hill. It was good place to try new go-kart. Wilma found another go-kart. It's Anneena. Her go-kart looked fast. Wilma and Anneena had a race. It was nice race, but a dog ran in front of Anneena. And they crashed each other. Their go-kart were broken. Chip had an idea. He told that to Mm and Dad. They made one go-kart out of two. The new go-kart was so cool. The children called it Silver Bullet. The day of the race, Mum tossed a coin which person drove the Silver Bullet and Anneena won. The race began and Silver Bullet was fast at first. Finally, Silver Bullet came third. But Silver Bullet won a prize. It was the best-looking go-kart. Everyone was happy.
I think the race is so important, but design of go-kart is also important. Congratulation.

ARTHUR'S FIRST KISS

I read the book "ARTHUR'S FIRST KISS." I like this series. But this story was a little shocking for me.

One day, Arthur came to school. And Francine said "See you at my party tomorrow." "Don't for get. It's my house," said Muffy. After the school, two girl came to Arthur and said "Are you really going to kiss Francine tomorrow?" Arthur didn't understand what she speaks. Arthur thought that he would rather kiss a flog.

The next day, Arthur got dressed for the party. "Oh, you are handsome, lover boy," laughed D.W. She is Arthur's younger sister. She wanted to go to the party, too. But Artur said no. She thought she would be Arthur's bodyguard, she would keep Francine from kissing Arthur. So Arthur said "If you really want to help, you can take Pal for a walk later." Pal is the dog. Arthur walked to Muffy's house. He didn't want to play kissing game. Francine and Muffy did something to strange act in the corner.What were they doing? They wrote the name of boys and girls. The game rule is that someone pick up on of the paper and another person also pick up. And each person have to kiss who the name written at the paper. In fact Francine and Muffy wrote just only Arthur and Francine's name. So they had to kiss.

At the same time, D.W. was walking Pal. She looked inside through the window. She looked what her brother was done. She thought that she has to help her brother. Then she put Pal inside to help her brother. Pal jumped to Arthur and gave him great kiss. And Francine couldn't kiss Arthur.

Arthur bought a piece of cake for D.W. And he gave Pal a great kiss. He very thanked them.

This story was interesting for me. But I don't like Francine. She is not so good, I think. D.W. and Pal worked very well. I think Arthur is happy because he has nice family.

Jack and the Beanstalk

I read the book "Jack and the Beanstalk". I have read the book which is written in Japanese in my childhood. I remember a little of that story. This story is good for me. I really enjoyed watching that.
Jack's family are very poor. Their member are Jack and his mother. Just 2 people, and 1 cow, named Milky White.
One day Jack and his mother decided that they sell Milky to get money. So Jack went to market to sell Milky. On the way to market, Jack met the old man. He asked Jack "Please give me the cow and I'll give you Magic beans," he continued "Plant them today and you'll see a beanstalk reaching to the clouds by morning." So Jack got Magic beans. And he went home, he threw the Magic beans on the ground. The next morning, Jack's room was still dark because of a beanstalk. The massive plant was reaching to the sky. Then he climb the beanstalk. Ans he arrived the top of that. There is very big castle. On the way to top, he met the fairy. She said to Jack "In the castle, a terrifying giant lives and he killed your father." And then Jack went into the castle. He was founded by a giant woman. But she is so kind. And she said "You must not be founded by the giant, Gerald. Gerald is the woman's husband. He is easy to get angry. Gerald came and he said I feel smell of someone. Jack hide in the pot on the table. He was afraid of the giant. Then the giant asked his wife to bring his hen. The hen laid a shiny golden egg. "Another!", the giant said. He said again and again. And eggs piled up on his hand. And then the giant fell asleep. It was a chance for Jack to go away. So he decided to go and to bring the hen. He ran faster and down to his house.
Jack's mother saw the chicken, she said it's for dinner. "No way!" Jack said. He told his mother that the hen lays golden eggs and show her the way. Jack and his mother bought the things they wanted because of the golden eggs.
Jack thought that there are other treasure on the sky. So he went there again. And the woman helped him again. The giant came and feel the smell of the little man. Then the woman bring a harp. The harp sings very well. And the giant fell asleep. Quick go! He ran away with the harp. But the music stopped the giant woke up and chased him. Jack get down the beanstalk faster and cut the beanstalk. The giant was flung the ground. No one ever see him again. The hen and the harp made Jack and his mother's life happily. But Jack wished the beanstalk would grow once more.
This book was very exciting for me. I really enjoyed reading. I want to read the book which I had read in Japanese in the past.

The Magic Porridge Pot

I read the book "The Magic Porridge Pot". I like this book. This book was very interesting for me.

Hannah is the girl who never had enough to eat. But, when she found some food, she always share it. She is very kind. Such the kind girl will happy soon, I think. One day, she found some honey and an old woman was carrying an empty pot. Hannah gave the old woman some honey. The the old woman asked Hannah "Would you like some porridge?" Next the old woman said the word "Cook pot, cook!" to the empty pot what she has. And hot porridge filled the pot. It's a magic pot. And if you want to stop cooking, you say "Stop pot, stop!" The old woman gave the magic pot to Hannah. From then, she can eat enough. A greedy boy noticed that Hannah has wonderful pot. And he stole it. At his house he said "Cook pot, cook!" But he didn't hear the "stop" magic word. Porridge filled the room. He cried "Stop stop!" But the pot didn't stop.

Hannah smelled porridge, and she ran out side. Porridge was pouring down the street. She shouted "Stop pot, stop!"
From then, no one tried to stole the magic pot.

This book is very very interesting for me. I want to read many kind of books. And I can feel something ot nice from them. Kind to others is for myself, I think.

The Gingerbread Boy

I read the book "The Gingerbread Boy". First, I thought this book is heartwarming story. After read this book, I felt something sad.
A little old man and little old woman lived. And they had no children.
One day the little old woman made a boy out of gingerbread. And then little gingerbread boy jumped and ran away. The old man and the old woman also ran. But the little gingerbread boy run faster.
So anyone, the little old man, the little old woman, a cow, a horse, and a farmer couldn't catch the little gingerbread boy. He came to river and a fox came. The fox asked the little gingerbread boy to sit on his back and can cross the river. The little gingerbread boy sat on the fox's back and cross the river. While they were crossing the river, the fox tried to eat the little gingerbread boy. But little gingerbread boy was on the river. There was no way to run away.
The little gingerbread boy was eaten.
This story was surprising. I think this story is not for children. If children read this book, they were made so feel sad.
By the way, I hope the little man and the little old woman live a long time together with happiness.

STUART LITTLE Sturt Hides Out

I read the book "STUART LITTLE". This book is also interesting. I had watched Stuart Little movie once. But I never read the book.

One day, the family went out. Stuart and the cat named Snowbell left. Stuart wanted to play a game. Then Snowbell said " How about a nice game of hide-and seek." And Stuart hides and Snowbell seeks. Stuart found hiding places and tried. Then he saw a flower vase high on a shelf. And Stuart climbed up and into the vase. In the vase, Stuart thought Snowbell will never find me, but it is not comfortable there. Then Stuart found that he couldn't go out from the vase. Stuart is so small and the top of the vase is taller than Stuart. Snowbell began to find Stuart, at first he thought I can find Stuart soon. But next he thought what am I doing even thinking about the mouse?" Finally he tried to go out side. At the time the vase fell over and began to roll. The vase rolled toward the edge of the shelf. Then Snowbell looked up and saw the vase rolling. HE jumped on the shelf and pounced on the vase just in time. Stuart really appreciate him. And Snowbell said "I wanted a snack and that made of me think of you." And last Stuart said "Next time, I get to chose the game."

Stuart was lucky. And Snowbell worked so nice.

ARTHUR and the NEW KID

I read the book "ARTHUR and the NEW KID". This is twice I read "ARTHUR" series. This book is almost interesting for me.

One day Norbert has moved to Elwood City and he was the new student in Arthur's class. Arthur and his friends thought about the new student. They thought many things about him, he is shy, rich, and so on. In one class, the teacher asked difficult question and the new student, Norbert found the answer. Then he told that to Francine. Francine raised her hand and answer the question. When Arthur and his friends are playing soccer, Norbert watched. Buster kicked the ball off the field. Then Norbert jumped up. He bounced the ball off his head and back to Buster. Francine said " He's really good". And then Norbert joined the soccer game. His play was good. After school Arthur asked Norbert to come to Arthur's house. And Norbert said " okay".

I think they became good friends each other. To make friends is difficult but friends are part of life. They are treasure. Good for you, Arthur ans Norbert.

Jason's Bus Ride

I read the book "Jason's Bus Ride". This book was also interesting for me.
One day Jason got the bus.There were many kind of people on the bus. He can watch cars, trucks, bikes, and motorcycles through of bus's window. Suddenly, the bus stopped. Why the stopped? It's because of a dog. The dog was in front of the bus and wouldn't not move. The driver beeped his horn. Many people tried to move the dog. A lady shouted "Shoo! Shoo!" A policeman blew his whistle. A man and a lady pulled the dog. A lady with a crying baby walked up to the dog and said " Move away! My baby wants to go home." But the dog wouldn't get of all of the way. After that Jason patted the dog. Good dog! Good dog! Then the dog smiled and walked away. Everyone watched his act and clapped. Congratulations, Jason!
I really like this kind of story. Jason is very kind and his act was also kind. That mind is very important, I think. To consider others is really good. I respect him. I want to be like him.

Happy Birthday, THOMAS!

I read the book "Happy Birthday, THOMAS!" This story was also interesting for me. By the way, I like Thomas very much. My favorite character is Sir Topham Hatt. He is boss.
The day was the birthday of Thomas. So Thomas wanted to free time. But Sir Topham Hatt said Thomas to work. And his friends were so busy. Thomas had to work. He was said about that. And his friends didn't said "Happy birthday." He wondered that everyone forget my birthday. After he finished his work, he went back and into shed.
"Surprise!" said all Thomas's friends. They were busy making a party for Thomas. The party was wonderful.
Happy birthday, Thomas.
I think his friends are so kind. I like surprising event. Maybe it makes me happy. By the way, Sir Topham Hatt is a little fat but he is so cool, I think. Why is he so cool? I think the most important thing of that reason is a hat. He usually wear the hat. Thanks to the hat, Sir Topham Hatt looks so cool. And his name is also Hatt.

ARTHUR LOST in the MUSEUM

I read the book "ARTHUR LOST in the MUSEUM". This book was also interesting for me.

Arthur and his classmates went to the museum. The teacher said "You must all stay with me". And then Arthur rose his hand, but it was not the time when Arthur can do some questions. So teacher said "Save your question." And then the time that Arthur can ask a question. And his question. "May I go to the bathroom?" Arthur asked. Everyone laughed. The teacher told him where the bathroom is. Then Arthur went there and into the door. And he opened the next door. There were Indians in that room. He screamed "Help!" He founded that the Indians were not live. They were models. He could see his class and the teacher through the glass. They were all laughing and pointing at Arthur. Arthur thought he is in big trouble. He ran out the door. The teacher couldn't understand why the class is laughing because the teacher told the history of the Indians. So he didn't look Arthur in the show window. Then Arthur looked for bathroom. He went into the other door. But it was not bathroom. It was a room showing the Pilgrims' first Thanksgiving. Everyone was also there. He wore the hat from Pilgrim girl. Then he became a Pilgrim boy. Everyone was laughing but the teacher also couldn't understand why they were laughing.

Finally, he went into bathroom. And then Arthur found his class. The teacher asked him why you took so long time. Arthur answered "I was making history."

Arthur was lost. But he had a important experience, I think. He must learned something from that experience.

A KISS FOR LITTLE BEAR

I read the book "A KISS FOR LITTLE BEAR". This book made me warm.
A Little Bear drew a picture for his grandmother. He asked Hen to take the picture to his grandmother. Hen went to grandmother's house. She was happy. She kissed Hen. The kiss was for Little Bear. On the way to Little Bear, Hen met Frog. And Hen asked Frog to take the kiss to Little Bear. And then Hen kissed to Frog. Like that...Frog kissed Cat and Cat kissed Skunk. Skunk saw another little skunk. He gave the kiss to her. And she gave it back. And he gave it back. It's charming, I think. Then Hen came. Hen found that the kiss was for Little Bear. So Hen was kissed from Skunk. And then she went to the place where Little Bear is. Hen kissed the Little Bear. "It is from your grandmother."
The skunks decided to get married. They had a lovely wedding.
Kiss is special, I think.

I read the book "Elmo says ACHOO!". It was a story of SESAME STREET. Do you know SESAME STREET? I like Elmo. Elmo has very funny voice and I like it.

By the way, this story is about Elmo and the other characters. One day Elmo brings present to Oscar. During the way of to Oscar, Elmo sneezes and the clothes down blow. Then Elmo meets Bert, he stacks cans. And Elmo sneezes then the cans fall. After that Elmo meets many people and he sneezes all cases. I think he must be in sick. Finally, Elmo visits Oscar and gives him a present. It was a sinkweed plant. Oscar was very glad to get the present. And then he says ACHOO! I think Oscar is also must be in sick.

Elmo is very kind. I want to get surprising present.

I read "The Musicians of Bremen". There are many animals in a farm. One day the owner of the farm said "I'll get rooster tomrrow". That evening the rooster cry and crow as possible. "What are you doing?" the dog asked. The rooster tells everyone about him. And then the donkey said "Let's run away!" And he has an idea to go to bremen and join to the town band. That night four friends, the donkey, the dog, the cat, and the rooster set off. They walk and into forest. Then the rooster said "I see a light." There is a house and there are a few people in the house. The donkey has an idea. All of four are pile up near the wimdow and they shouted as loud as they can. And then they burst into the room. In the house, there are three robbers. They run away. After that four animals eat and eat. Then they sleep.

The robbers see lights go out. One robber go to the house to hit the animals. But he can't. All four animals hit the robber. And he run away again.

And then the four animals live in the house forever. They like the house and it's very comfortable for them.

I had read this story in my childhood. I remember this story. And I could enjoy this story again.

Chicken Licken

I read "Chicken Licken". There are many birds in this story. Chicken Licken is scared of everything. One day he go to woods to found a safe place to sit. And then, a tiny acorn dropped from the tree. And it hit Chicken Licken's head. "What was that?" he think. So he couldn't see the acorn. He think, "The sky must be falling!". He think he must tell the king that strange thing. Then he run to the king. On the way to the King, he meet many birds, Henny Penny, Cocky Locky, Ducky Lucky, Goosey Loosey, and Turkey Lurkey. They all are going to the King. Then Foxy Loxy let them into the forest and they arrive the hole where Foxy Loxy lives. He tells a lie. He will eat them. And then an acorn hit Foxy's head. Foxy think the sky is falling and run a way. But everyone looked the thing and found the truth. Evryone look at Chicken Licken and chase him all the way home.

This story was interesting for me. Chicken Licken was good character.

The Bus Driver's Birthday

I read the book "The Bus Driver's Birthday". The bus driver's name is Tommy. And the day was Tomy's birthday. So he wanted to take the day off work. He phined hi friends to drive the bus insted of he. He phoned the vet, the doctor, the shopkeeper, the hairdresser, and the butcher. But all of them couldn't OK his offer. So Tommy get on the bus to drive.

He sat in hi seat and then...the vet, the doctor, the shopkeeper, the hairdresser, and the butcher all sang Happy Birthday to you. They all gave Tommy a big cake and then the hairdresser drove his bus for him.

This book is good. All of them remembered Tommy's birthday. Tommy is very happy man, I think.

I read the book "Carla Crocodile's Knitting". Carla liked knitting. She Kitted a scarf. The color was stripe of red, blue and yellow. When she finished knitting it, Carla's friend, Charlie came and said

"That's a nice scarf."

So Carla gave it to Charlie. And then Carla knitted a stripey hat. And she gave it to Charlie. Charlie asked Carla to knit some socks for him. And Carla knitted a pair of socks. But! the pair of socks' color was different each other. And Charlie liked the pair of socks.


This book made me warm. Carla and Charlie were kind. Carla knitted many things for Charlie. Charlie permited Carla's mistake. Their relationship was good, I think.

I read the book "Polly Perkins's Picture". Polly Perkins painted a lot of pictures and she put them upon the wall. She decided to sell them. Then she went to town to sell her pictures. She went to 3 shops. But all of them didn't buy her pictures. The shop's owner said to Polly

"If they are very good pictures, you should hang them on the walls of your house."

And then she did it.

I shocked a little because Polly's pictures was not sold. But the shop's owner told Polly important thing. I agree with his idea.

I read the book "Harry's Great Big Burp".
Harry is the boy who live with his mum. His mum gave Harry all kinds of food that he don't like. And Harry ate of all food. Harry don't like prunes. But Mum wanted Harry to eat prunes. So Harry ate some prunes. And then, Harry went to to school by school bus. At the time, he felt something...

His tummy started to rumble, and mumble, and grumble. Then...POP! A great big
burp came from Harry's mouth.

In the library,

another great big burp came from Harry's mouth.

The walls of the library shook and make the shelves shake like an earthquake. But it wasn't it. The shelves shake is made by Harry's big burp! Harry ran the home. And he decieded not to eat prunes ever again. I like this book very much. It was very interesting for me. Harry is kind enough to OK his mum's order. I like that. But I'm sorry for Harry, he must be ashamed to make a big burp. Don't care, Harry!

STAR REPORTER

I read the book "STAR REPORTER". Joe called and said to Steve "A new girl came in town!" Her name is Marietta. She is tall, with red hair and a nice smile.

Steve's father is Ned Reit and he is a editor of the weekly newspaper, the Cado Star. One day, Steve's father asked Steve to help the job. So Steve had to find something interesting for week's newspaper. And then Steve leave home and he found a very beautiful girl. He thought that she is the girl that Joe said. The girl took some photographs and she wanted to sell them to someone. Steve saw her many times and that time he always in trouble and the girl took the photos which Steve in trouble. The beautiful girl heard the good news, she can sell the photos to the Cado Star. After that, she went to the Cado Star. And Steve's Dad asked her to take good photos.

Steve also had to get the interesting news for the newspaper. He went to the Mr Ritchie's home. Mr Ritchie is a writer and Steve thought Mr Ritchie has something interesting. And the fact, he had a good news and he told that to Steve. But while he tells that, Steve noticed that a cat in the tree and the cat couldn't get down. And Steve tried to help the cat, he climbed the tree and he succeed. But then he was fall in the lake under the tree. After that, the beautiful girl came and helped Steve. She is Mr Ritchie's daughter. And she said that "I've got a good picture. Maybe I can sell it to your father!" A week later, that photo on the newspaper. Steve and the beautiful girl, Marietta said each other, "You take good photographs, Marietta", "And you're a good newspaper reporter, Steve.

This story is love comedy, I think. I like this kind of story but I like true love story than that! That is my hope, I think. But if my future is the same situation like now, I will have to spend just only with a dog. I am lonely man!
